Sometimes we feel that issues could be sorted out in a better way than they were dealt with. As a matter of fact, the ultimate goal of all is to lead a peaceful and happy life. To attain this, we set our own aims, visions, and targets and are influenced by external materialistic factors. We simply don’t recognise the purpose of being born. No matter who, what, and how we are, we all forget to forgive ourselves and others for simple issues and differences. But forgetting and forgiving are not just two big, complex tasks to achieve. If anyone at least tried to do any one of the above, then he or she would become the happiest and most successful person.When exploring how these two words would change one’s life, one might end up with a series of surprises. Implementing either of the two would seem a little difficult at the beginning, but over time, one may discover unbounded joy.I came up with this simple expansion of words to add a strong meaning to the context. The first word could be expanded as FORGIVE = FOR || GIVE, and I would interpret the meaning as “For my benefit, I give upon someone (a near or dear one) else.”
In a similar fashion, the second word is expanded as FORGET = FOR || GET and would interpret the meaning as “For my benefit, I get it erased for my sake.”As it is said, “Time is the best healer, and every bitterness fades with time.” So, let’s forgive and forget and move on in life for our betterment. We change to bring about change by becoming the change.
