We all want to lead a happy life. It is the ultimate goal of most of us, no matter if we earn more to live happily or simply build good relations to live happily. The result that you wish to see is your happy face when you stand in front of the mirror every day. So, how do you make yourself happy? There can be no one except “you” who could make you happy. Yes, it’s true that when you wish to see some change around you, things around you may remain the same. Henceforth, you have to be the change to create changes in your life.
A simple method that I am sharing with you all is’stay positive’. When you stay positive in all aspects, all positive things will come towards you. As you will see, the law of attraction works very well. Now your mind is probably asking, Is it just enough that if I stay positive, will there be a change in my life? Stay positive; that’s enough. You heard it right: by simply staying positive, you can change your life in the way that you want it to be.
What is staying positive?
Here are a few techniques that I suggest for staying positive:.
1. Keep your thoughts clear.
Your thoughts play a pivotal role in shaping your life. Yeah, your mind indeed creates the thoughts that take the form of a dream, and that dream is what it perishes into reality later. That’s why great achievers have always asked us to follow our dreams. So, to dream about your life, your thoughts have to be clear.
2. Speak in a positive tone.
Trust me, this works. In all these years, I have been trying to practice the art of speaking in a positive tone, and I have not just sensed the changes, but I have also been lucky to enjoy the results. Here is a simple demonstration of how it works. Think about the workplace. You have been given an assignment with a deadline. If you ask how I can complete it on time, it’s highly impossible to do so. You will be unable to do it. On the other hand, if you just say the same in a positive tone, I wish I could manage to complete my assignment on time. You see, you may end up completing it. Just read the two lines that I have underlined; both refer to the same meaning, but the tone and words used are different.
Whenever you are in a situation where you are going to use the word “bad,” just replace it with “not good.” Here, you are not changing the context or meaning; you’re just replacing it with an alternate word carrying the same context, but its entire way of expressing it is different. That’s how you speak to stay positive.
3. The power of a positive vibe
Create a positive vibration around you to experience a magical change in your life. You may be wondering how to harness such a vibe. It’s quite simple. First, you should feel happy and think that all the situations you face in your life are just a part of life, not your whole life. It is true that life is balanced with joy and sorrow. If you can change all your unhappy situations to happy ones, then you will be filled with a positive life. When I say vibe, it’s a kind of energy that you generate within and around you. Energy, in simple language, is the feeling that you experience.
When someone comes to you and says unpleasant things either about you or your work, just try to convert it into a good feeling. If you try to take it as criticism at first, then try to ignore it later. Instead, just at the same moment, when you are going through a tough situation in dealing with people like that, just stay calm for a second and think about how if you weren’t present there, you may not be listening to it. So, just pretend that you did not hear anything that is not good about you. It will give you a better feeling, and finally, you will experience a positive vibration because of the happiness created within you by thought( you weren’t there when someone said an unpleasant thing about you or your work). You weren’t there, so you are happy. This is one way of creating a positive vibration. Another is having faith in time and believing in yourself that the situation is going to change the very next moment. Why worry about what you can’t change with what has happened?
4. Ignore the unwanted thoughts.
Not just yours; even the thoughts of people around you have a strong influence on shaping up your life. You are good and always carry a good and positive thought in your mind until someone interferes and tries to create an uneasy situation, for you say they speak only of discouragement and imposing their thoughts upon you. The best thing you can do is to stay away from them. Yeah, it is true. By simply ignoring it, you are minimising the chance of risking your thought process. When you want to stay positive, make sure that not only you but even the people around you are positive. Then it’s going to be easy for you to lead a positive life.
A great mind once said that being the change you wish to see in others is an absolute fact. If you think, then your thought takes shape in your dream, and it turns into reality. A positive thought can change your way of living. If you believe you are happy, then you will truly be happy, and vice versa.
